On March 7, 2026 COWOC, in partnership with Jacobs’ Ladder Youth Foundation, hosted the EARN Maryland Grant Kickoff Meeting in Fort Washington, MD. The invite-only networking event brought together community leaders, workforce partners, employers, and local officials to celebrate the launch of this workforce development initiative.
Through the EARN Maryland Grant, COWOC is partnering with Jacob’s Ladder to expand job readiness training and employment pathways for residents in our community. The event provided an opportunity for attendees to connect, learn more about the program’s goals, and sucuss how collaboration can strengthen the regional workforce pipeline.
