We are excited to share our ambitious vision for the COWOC Center, a dynamic and innovative community hub set to be established in Marlow Heights, MD. Our planned two-level facility will be a beacon of opportunity and growth, featuring a wide range of resources designed to empower and uplift our community. The center will house state-of-the-art office spaces, cutting-edge technology labs, comprehensive training centers, and a welcoming internet café, among other amenities. These spaces will provide essential tools and support for education, workforce development, and personal growth, making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
Currently, we are in the process of securing the physical space, which is located in the former Macy’s building. This location offers a central and accessible venue for our community-focused initiatives. However, we are facing some challenges with the property owners, which are causing delays. Despite these obstacles, we remain steadfast in our commitment to making this vision a reality.
