Ms. Jalyn K. Wilson is the Accounts Receivable and Finance Manager for TeamGOV, a family owned Staffing and Information Technology Company. She has managed the finances and company contracts for TeamGov for over four years. Jalyn is a vibrant young woman who loves people and especially working with young people. Jaylyn is the product of the Washington, DC Public School system where she attended the Kipp School. After graduating from Kipp Jalyn decided to go away to college and attended Bentley University in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied Information Design in Corporate Communications and Gender Studies. Once Jaylin completed her college education she took some time to travel and explore possibilities that were offered to her. However, it wasn’t long before Jaylin chose to use her skill sets in the family business at Team Gov. She became a strong contributor to the company from day one. Her innovative concepts and creative thinking gives her the needed edge to ensure TeamGov maintains its thriving mobility. She is excellent at forging new relationships with other industry stakeholders while sustaining existing partnerships to help keep the company relevant. Jaylyn is a multi-task oriented professional who manages various accounts and invoices for the company. Jalyn has had an abundance of significant professional experiences as a finance professional. She created several tools to help the company properly evaluate and assess their internal processes to ensure they move forward accurately and improve the forecasting of their financial future. She is a powerful young force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to strengthen the company and encourage others to work hard and succeed. Jalyn loves working with her dad, as he shares her passion to help others and create opportunities for those who otherwise may not have any.
In her personal life, Jalyn likes to travel, meet new and exciting people, spend time with her family, and engage in various recreational activities. She loves creative and abstract art and enjoys a wide range of music. Although she has no specific church affiliation or specific religion that she is a part of, Jalyn is a faith-based individual who enjoys doing community service work with the Community Of Hope Church based in Marlow Heights, Maryland. Jalyn was an important part of a team who volunteered to help the community during the Covid-19 crisis. She assisted in disbursing over 20,000 meals, 10,000 masks, hand sanitizers, gloves, toilet paper and other necessities to the people of Prince George’s County and surrounding areas who were in need. There is no doubt that Jalyn has much to offer our community and we are blessed and thankful to have her as a part of our Board.
